Hello!

First of all we would like to say a massive thank you for your homework last week! The classrooms are looking fantastic!

This week we have written poems all about kites, using rhyme and noun phrases. We’ve begun to type these up using our word processing skills.

Also, we have made our own kites and taken them onto the field to fly. These will be coming home on Friday, so you can fly them together at home too.

In Numeracy we have been learning to add using the column method (also in this week’s homework). Parents – we now call them “ones” and not “units”!

Don’t forget that there is an open book afternoon the first week back, on Wednesday 24^th from 2.30pm- all welcome!
