Hello and welcome to the first Reception blog!

Here you will find snippets and summaries of what has been going on all around Reception. It has been a fun first few weeks and your children have been settling in very well. It has been lovely to see your children getting stuck in with school life and exploring the classrooms and making new friends.

The start of the school year can be a very hectic time for our new Reception children, so please bear this in mind if your child does seem a bit reluctant in the morning. It is often the case that once they are in the classroom, the tears dry and they settle quickly and tackle the day head on!

Also, be prepared for a whole new wonderful world of junk models and unique creations to fill your homes, we suggest a trophy cabinet might be a nice way of displaying the many uses of toilet rolls and egg boxes.
