Hello!

It has been a busy week this week in Year 2.

On Tuesday we went to church in our teams to celebrate Mothering Sunday. The children behaved beautifully and the singing was wonderful! We hope you all have a lovely, relaxing day on Sunday.

Thursday was World Book Day – the children’s costumes looked fantastic, we really appreciate the effort you must have gone to at home. In the morning we had a parade in the hall, and then we began looking at the story of “Georgie Grub”. This story had rhyming couplets. We created our own grubby character (Slimy Steve in 2M and Milly Mess in 2K) and then wrote a class story about them using rhyming couplets. In the afternoon we performed these to each of the Year 5 classes.

Don’t forget that on Tuesday 8^th it is class photo day.
