This week we have been learning all about Jack and the Beanstalk. It has been a very exciting week as all the children came into school to discover a giants footprint in our Creative area! We then received a letter from Jack saying he was stuck in the giants castle! The children had to think of different ways that they could rescue Jack and we wrote class replies to his letter.

Some children thought that the letter might not reach Jack (due to complications with the Royal Mail sorting system) so we decided as a back up plan that we should grow our own beanstalks (after learning about the life cycle of a bean) and rescue Jack ourselves!
