Spring Clean!?
Dear Parent/Carer(s)
One of the most productive ways that children learn about the ‘real world’ is through playing and using real life objects. With this in mind, and the need to excite and inspire them to learn, we would be grateful if you could help us with this aspect of their learning by donating any of the following items:
- Paint brushes (all sizes) and paint rollers
- Indoor and outdoor brooms (any condition) and mops
- Extra-large plant pots
- Tyres (of all shapes and sizes) and bike rims without tyres
- Bits of guttering pipe and plumbers piping
- Small role play plastic figures (anything from animals to princesses)
- Larger role play equipment
- Dress up clothes
- Gravel (all shapes, sizes and colours)
- Small, medium and large cable reels
- 2 litre plastic bottles and other junk modelling materials i.e. cereal boxes and yoghurt pots
- Small tree logs or log slices
- Unwanted kitchen equipment for our mud kitchen
- Ribbon (all colours and widths)
- Plastic buckets (adult or child sized)
- Watering cans and grass seed
- Landline telephones or old mobile phone handsets (no sim cards please)
- Trikes, bikes and scooters
- Large pieces of materials and plain bed sheets
If you have any of the above at home, please could you bring them in to school and deliver to the Reception green gate. We really appreciate your support with this and look forwards to seeing what you all find at the back of your sheds and cupboards!
Kind regards,
Mrs Davies, Miss Rule, Miss Mabey and the Reception team
