Hello!

Welcome back to school!

On the last Friday of term we won the school “Singing Science Song” competition with Year 6! The children worked really hard on this and I’m sure you heard them practising it at home too! We won some giant Frisbees to enjoy at playtimes.

We have a very exciting term ahead! The children are really looking forward to our new topic “Under the Sea” (so are the teachers!).

This week we have finished our Traditional Tale topic with the “Three Little Pigs” and the “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs”. The children have enjoyed thinking about an alternate version of the story and debating which one they think is true. We have created Wanted posters for the Big Bad Wolf which we will be displaying in our classrooms.

From next week we have Miss Shipp joining us in 2M from Birmingham City University on her final PGCE placement. She will be with us until the 4^th July and will be a great addition to the team. Also in 2M we now have Miss Mills (who was previously in RR) to replace Mrs Morgan.
