Minibeasts everywhere
Creepy crawly!
Reception children returned from their Easter break with a smile and a rested spring in their step.
Children have read The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly. They went on a minibeast hunt around the school grounds and found many of the worlds smallest creatures. Reuben in RR showed a keen knowledge of all things small and crawling. He shared his knowledge with his peers in reception and collected minibeasts for closer inspection with his bare hands.
If you have some spare time use the minibeast hunt sheet below to see what tiny animals you can find in your garden or local park.
