What a fantastic first week we have had in Year 5! The children have coped extremely well with all the changes in school and have been demonstrating our new school rules brilliantly- Ready, Respectful and Safe. 

In our English lessons, we have started reading ‘holes’ by Louis Sachar. We had a great first lesson predicting what we think might happen after reading the first three chapters and watching the film trailer. 

I wonder if our opinions will change as we read on?
