Using a selection of colours, warm water and salt, we mixed some fabric dye in buckets. Onto a long white sheet, we attached several elastic bands by twisting the fabric and securing it tightly. In three stages, we dipped the sheet into the dyes and had to make sure all the areas were fully immersed to get the best effect. Once complete, we removed the bands and hung our sheet out to dry- thank goodness the weather held out dry and sunny! We were really pleased with our end result.
