Prayer Spaces
Reflecting on caring for others
This week some volunteers from St George's Church and Rugby Methodist Church came in to deliver some prayer space sessions based on the theme of 'Care' to link in with our REACH principles. We took part in a lot of activities including travelling to the future in a TARDIS after thinking about what our future self would like to be. We also thought about what we were thankful for and who cares for us.
We've also started to read 'Whistling Jack' by Linda Newbery. This follows the adventures of Roger the dog and his owner Jack who live on a canal, so in art we have been using wax crayons to draw flowers based on canal art which is found on narrow boats. In maths, we have been practising our 4 and 8 times tables as well as using our problem solving skills.
