Welcome back to school! We hope you all really enjoyed the Christmas break and have come back ready to start a new year.

This week we are starting our Discover term, so we have a really big focus on History, starting with Flight.

Our text this week is “Zog” written by Julia Donaldson. So far we have done some story sequencing, story retelling and written a character description. We designed our own characters, either a princess or a dragon!

In History we looked at flight through the ages and created a chronological timeline showing how it has changed.

This term we will also be starting Food Technology with Mrs Wright. The children will have this on a Wednesday each week. Half of each class will do Food Tec before half term, and the other half after half term.
