This week Year One have been learning all about the animals who live in Africa. We were very lucky and had a visit from a lady who brought in some of the animals for us to see and hold! The children had a go at holding lizards, snakes and stroking a meeerkat. The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were incredibly excited to write down all of the new facts they have learned.  

I think we all now want our very own meerkat!
