Our walk to the local post box!
We hope our letters arrive safely!
The Reception children loved walking to the local post box to post their letters that they had written to their families.
In topic lessons, we have been learning all about postal workers and how they help us. We have found out how letters and parcels get from the post box to the correct houses and the important role that postal workers play in making this happen.
In English, we have been learning about how to write a letter, and so we wrote a letter to our families with a special message, ready to take to the post box. We spoke about why we need an address on the envelope and why we need a stamp. Let's hope our letters arrive to the right houses!
