This has been a fantastic week in Reception, where we have learnt all about addition. 

Your children have really grasped the concept of addition and are confident about using + and = in those tricky number sentences. All the children this week have shown us their ability to count independently. Some of your children can even count past 20! Please keep on counting at home and why not try some addition with your children?

During our Literacy lessons, we have drawn in our focus on celebrations and have spent a lot of time discussing the key elements to different types of celebration. If you have any nice pictures of your child celebrating in any way please could you send them via email to us so we can add them to our display boards. The more types of celebration you can evidence, the better!
