This week Year 2 have been working hard to create a news report about the Apollo 11 moon landing. They wrote a news report and then went to the ICT suite to type up their report into a teleprompter and later in the week performed their news reports live to the rest of the class.  In Numeracy, we continued to learn about Fractions including finding amounts of fractions! On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day. We spent the morning listening to teachers read and did a Quiz in mixed Key Stage 1 groups. In the afternoon, we looked at one of the World Book Day books called ‘Billy and the Beast’ and practice showing what a character might look like through movement. Thank you to those parents who came in to read with the children in school!
