In Year 2 we are very excited to learn more about knights and castles for our new topic, The Quest!

Last week we learnt how to dress a knight so he would be ready for battle – we even transformed one of the children into a knight; complete with chainmail, leg armour, cuirass and a helmet! The children also drew and labelled their own castles on the playground, as part of Outdoor Learning Week. The children drew some amazing and detailed castles complete with arrow loops, a drawbridge, a moat and a portcullis.
