Well done to all the children in Year 2! They really worked hard to learn their lines for our year group assembly, even if we did have a few quiet voices! The children learnt the songs really well and enjoyed showing off what they had learnt to their grownups.

In Create this week we have been reading the “non-traditional tale” of ‘The Pea and the Princess’. It’s all about traditional fairy-tale, but this time from the pea’s perspective. We designed out own icky pea recipes which the children really enjoyed and made into some fantastic instructions. We also did some drama, creating freeze frames and writing captions for them.

In Numeracy we have been doing lots of multiplying and dividing. To multiply we’re learnt a new method of using arrays to help us calculate the answer. We went outside to make arrays in the playground; the children have worked really hard to lean this method, well done!
