We’ve had a very busy second week of term!

In our Circus topic we’ve watched Dumbo (which everybody really enjoyed) and used it to inspire us. We’ve written some fantastic descriptions of Dumbo using expanded noun phrases and also written persuasive letters. We were trying to convince the Ringmaster that Mrs Jumbo should, or shouldn’t be locked up. The children had some very interesting views and opinions.

In Numeracy we’ve been working on number bonds and place value.We’ve used base ten to help us learn about tens and ones so we know the value of a 2 digit number.

In Science we’ve been learning about the needs of a plant and made posters to teach others about this.
