A busy week in Year 6
Wow! Another busy week in Year 6...
The children are currently very engaged in their World War Two topic in History. This week, the children have written letters home as if they had been evacuated from the big city to the countryside. The children used some great emotive language to describe how they were feeling and shared their thoughts on what life might have been like for children in war time. This week in English, we have also been writing a Newspaper report about the Coventry Blitz and the children have been demonstrating their knowledge of this significant historical event.
In maths, we have been learning about Fractions of an Amount and as you can see from the photos, the children have been using multi link cubes to demonstrate their mathematical thinking.
