On Thursday 17th March, four children from Year 4 were selected to attend Rugby Library following their Reading Celebration initiative. The children were selected to represent Paddox based on their passion for reading! 

At 9:30am, the children were transported to Rugby Library where they took part in a competition against two other local schools. Round 1 was the 'Creative Response Round' where the children presented their wonderful scene in a jar based on 'The Boy at the Back of the Class', which they had been studying in English lessons. Following this, the children took part in another 7 rounds of quizzing based on their knowledge of children's literature. 

It's safe to say the children had a brilliant time and they did a sterling job of representing the school. Thank you to Miss Merrick for organising the experience and Mrs Randall for transporting the children to and from school.
