Air Resistance
Science
Last week in Science, we looked at what air resistance was and how gravity and air resistance work in pairs. We also planned a fair test to understand whether the size of a parachute would have an affect on the air resistance and how quickly it would fall.
This week, we made our 3 parachutes: one large, one medium and one small. After, we dropped them from the window and timed how long they took to fall and put our results into a table. Based on our results, we found that the larger the parachute, the more air resistance there is therefore it falls the slowest.
