I am the Head Teacher at Paddox primary School and joined the team in September 2024. This is my 3rd headship and have previously led a school in Northamptonshire where we went from Requires improvement to good in 5 months and then spent 5 years at a school in Leamington Spa where we took it from inadequate to Good over this time, which also included the covid pandemic!

I have worked in education for 25 years now, starting a class teacher, then moving to year group leader, phase leader, assistant head, deputy head and finally head teacher. I spent a large chunk of my teaching career in Year 6 and also supporting children with SEND. In my previous Headship I led a school with high levels of SEND and also led a Trust wide working party for SEND development. My passion is ensuring all children get the very best experiences at school, that they feel they are part of a community, can have fun as they learn and develop into well rounded individuals ready for the big wide world. Developing a love of learning, being curious about the world around them and seeing education as a journey of gaining knowledge is something I want to embed at Paddox.
