Hi, I’m Luke Chair of Governors at Paddox Primary School. As a parent governor I have a child in year two (and one more to start reception soon) so I am 100% committed to helping the school be the very best it can be and it is something I am really passionate about. After being a governor for a year, I stepped into the Chair role alongside the new Headteacher starting with us and it’s been brilliant to see the positive change already and working with her to achieve her vision.

Outside of my personal desire to support the school, I have also worked in schools my entire professional life. From educational content, staff appraisal and performance management, Central Records Management and Special Educational Needs, through to my current role where I head the growth department for the UKs largest Digital Safeguarding provider. This gives me a wide understanding of school life, alongside a deep understanding of the commercial/business drivers that schools face.

I have a wide professional network I’m always happy to leverage to benefit the school and I am passionate about Safeguarding, holding level 3 DSL training via NADSL. My wife is also a teacher at a school in Rugby, so I understand from a personal, professional and parental perspective how schools operate.
